On 20th December, H.E. Mr. Du Xiaohui, Chinese Ambassador to Zambia, met with Hon. Elias Mubanga, Minister of Small and Medium Enterprise Development. They exchanged views on the development of small and medium enterprises and cooperation and innovation in the economic field between Zambia and China.

Minister Mubanga said, China has always strongly supported Africa's development. The new dawn government values the communication and cooperation with the Chinese government, and looks forward to deepening cooperation between the two sides in the field of agricultural small and medium enterprises, and promoting the development of the entire agricultural industry chain and improving productivity through the introduction of Chinese capital and technology.

Ambassador Du introduced the recent positive progress of China-Zambia practical cooperation, briefly explained the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and focused on explaining the profound connotation of Chinese modernization and the opportunities for developing countries. Ambassador Du said that the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has provided a broad space for the high-quality development of China-Zambia cooperation. China is willing to work with Zambia to maintain the all-weather friendship between the two countries, innovate cooperation models in agriculture and other fields, stimulate the vitality of enterprises, and strengthen cooperation between small and medium enterprises in both China and Zambia. Next year is the traditional Chinese Year of the Rabbit. Small and medium enterprises of the two countries should give full play to their advantages of being "small, fast and flexible" like "rabbits" to make greater contributions to the friendship between China and Zambia.
