Recently, Mr. Du Xiaohui, Chinese Ambassador to Zambia, met with Hon. Mulambo Haimbe, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Zambia.

Ambassador Du commended the Zambian Government for the efforts to create social conditions where China-Zambia cooperation has enjoyed safety, stability and rule of law. 

Minister Haimbe said that Zambia and China enjoy cordial and friendly relations, and thanked China for always supporting Zambia’s national development. He believed that the bilateral relationship can only grow from strength to strength. Zambia welcomes more Chinese investment in the country and will continue to improve the business environment by the rule of law. The Minister said that Chinese citizens and companies are equally protected by Zambian laws as Zambian citizens and companies.

The Ambassador and the Minister also discussed other issues of mutual concern.
