On 25 October, Ambassador Du Xiaohui met with Hon. Jacob Mwiimbu, Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security of Zambia, and exchanged views on implementing consensus of the two Heads of State by enhancing law-enforcement cooperation between the two countries among others.

Ambassador Du said that H.E. President Hichilema paid a very successful state visit to China this September. Under the guidance of the two Heads of State, the comprehensive strategic and cooperative partnership between China and Zambia will surely yield fruitful results. The Chinese side stands ready to optimize business environment and facilitate people-to-people exchanges by enhancing law-enforcement and  immigration cooperation.

Minister Mwiimbu said that China is a all-weather friend of Zambia and Zambia benefits a lot from China’s long standing help and support. H.E. President Hichilema’s successful state visit to China is fruitful. The Ministry is always ready to cooperate with the Embassy to implement consensus of the two Heads of State by streamlining visa procedures.
