On January 25, Ambassador Du Xiaohui met with Mr. Percy Chinyama, SMART Zambia National Coordinator. Minister-Counsellor Wang Sheng was present.

Ambassador Du introduced the accomplishments and opportunities of digital development in China. He said that China is willing to enhance digital economic cooperation and strengthen strategic mutual trust with Zambia, and make sure that the fruits of digital cooperation benefit the people from both countries.

Mr. Chinyama thanked China for the long-standing assistance and support to digital development in Zambia. He said that China is an important partner of Zambia, and SMART Zambia is willing to deepen digital cooperation with China in areas such as infrastructure and capacity building.
