On 5 March, Chargé d'affaires Wang Sheng met with the Hon. Elijah Muchima, the Minister of Health of Zambia. The two sides exchanged views on deepening cooperation between China and Zambia in the field of health.

Chargé d'Affaires Wang noted that China and Zambia are all-weather friends and comprehensive strategic partners, and China will, as always, provide assistance and support in various aspects, including health care to the Zambian side.

Muchima noted that the friendship between Zambia and China has a long history, and the Zambian side is very grateful to China for the health assistance it has provided to Zambia for a long time, especially the strong support in hospital infrastructure, medical equipment and vaccines. Hope both sides can continue to strengthen relevant cooperation.
