On 28th May, H.E. Mr. Li Jie, Chinese Ambassador to Zambia met with Hon. Kampamba Mulenga, Minister of Fisheries and Livestock of Zambia.
Ambassador Li said that the bilateral friendship has a long history and the two sides adhere to the principle of mutual respect and win-win cooperation. Zambia is blessed with excellent natural conditions and is rich in freshwater and forage resources with great potential for the development of fish farming and livestock husbandry. Last year, Zambian natural honey exported to China successfully. China welcomes quality Zambian products export to Chinese market. China is willing to work together with Zambia to fully implement the outcomes of the FOCAC Beijing Summit and promote practical cooperation in all fields.
Hon. Mulenga warmly welcomed Ambassador Li and expressed her sincere appreciation to the Chinese side for the long-term support and assistance to Zambia's economic and social development and people's livelihood. She briefly introduced the mission and vision of her ministry. She expects that more Chinese companies come to invest in Zambia and bring advanced technology. She also looks forward to exporting more Zambia’s produce to China.
