On September 15, Ambassador Du Xiaohui met with Mr. Friday Mulenga, President of the Zambia-China Old Students Association (ZACOSA) and his delegation to exchange views on promoting China-Zambia people-to-people and cultural exchanges.

Amb. Du said that international students are witnesses, beneficiaries and contributors to the all-weather friendship and all-dimensional cooperation between China and Zambia. It is hoped that ZACOSA will attach great importance to the huge opportunities for China’s development, give full play to the advantages of the China-Zambia friendship, further expand its own influence, help more Zambian students in study and employment, promote people-to-people and cultural exchanges between China and Zambia, and contribute to China-Zambia friendship.

Mr. Mulenga thanked the Embassy for its continuous support to ZACOSA. He said that through serving Zambia students studying in China, ZACOSA will continue to carry forward Zambia-China friendship, promote people-to-people and cultural exchanges, and make greater contributions to the development of Zambia-China relations .

ZACOSA was established in 2014 and now has 500 members, all of whom are Zambian students who have once studied and graduated in China. It provides study and employment consulting services for Zambian students studying in China.
