On 29th June, H.E. Mr. Du Xiaohui, Chinese Ambassador to Zambia, meets with Hon. Chushi Kasanda, Minister of Information and Media & Chief Government Spokesperson. They exchanged views on China-Zambia relations.

Ambassador Du said that the successful telephone conversation between the two heads of state at the end of May is a milestone of the China-Zambia relations in the new era, giving political guidance to the bilateral relations. The Chinese side is willing to work closely with the Ministry and share the fruitful outcome of the “All Weather, All Dimensional and All party” bilateral relations, making the China-Zambia friendship deeply rooted in the heart of the people.

Minster Kasanda welcomed Ambassador Du to Zambia. She said that the Zambian side appreciates the China-Aided Kenneth Kaunda International Conference Center which is regarded as “ the TAZARA in the new era”. The tangible aids from China make great contributions to Zambia, developing Zambia’s economy, helping Zambia fight against the Covid-19 and improving Zambia’s international image.
