On May 13th, Ambassador Han Jing met with Prof. Royson Mukwena, Vice-Chancellor of Mulungushi University. Dr. Brian Halubanza, Dean of the School of Engineering and Technology, was present.

Ambassador Han Jing stated that education is of great significance for enhancing mutual understanding between the two peoples, consolidating the all-weather friendship, and strengthening the foundation for cooperation. China looks forward to deepening cooperation with Mulungushi University in such areas as mandarin teaching, innovation and social sciences, to train more professionals and promoters of China-Zambia friendship as the two countries jointly pursue modernization.

Prof. Mukwena stated that Mulungushi University stands ready to further explore its disciplinary strengths to cooperate with China in scientific and technological innovation and vocational education, promote Zambian human resource development and educational digitalization, as a bridge for Zambia-China friendship and a contributor to closer China-Africa cooperation.
