On 23 April 2025, Ambassador Han Jing met with Hon. Mulambo Haimbe, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Zambia and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.

Ambassador Han said that the first four months of the year 2025 has seen deepened bilateral relations as evidenced by regular exchanges of high-level visits and thriving cooperation across the board, as the two countries jointly implement the consensus reached by the two Heads of States and the outcomes of the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).

Minister Haimbe said that in the face of rapidly changing geopolitical landscape, it is more important for Zambia to advance cooperation with China in both bilateral and multilateral arenas to further enhance the Zambia-China Comprehensive Strategic and Cooperative Partnership.
